Rig Inspection Workshops

ModuSpec's *IADC DIT accredited Rig Inspection Workshops explore the working principles of major drilling equipment, together with inspection and maintenance practices that support equipment integrity and compliance. The workshops also cover common equipment and system deficiencies, relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

Well Control Equipment CoursesΒ 

Designed to develop understanding of BOP and well control equipment and systems, these courses cover equipment function, inspection and maintenance requirements, integrity and compliance.Β 

  • Level 1 | 3 days – For personnel who require knowledge of BOP and well control equipment without a hands-on maintenance role.
  • Level 2 | 5 days – For personnel who require more detailed knowledge of BOP and well control equipment, including function, inspection, maintenance, integrity and compliance.

Hands-On BOP Workshop

Combining technical learning with practical exercises, the Hands-On BOP Workshop develops understanding of surface BOP and well control equipment, common faults, maintenance requirements and safe working practices. Practical training using a surface ram BOP gives participants the opportunity to apply maintenance procedures covered during the course.

Subsea Engineer Programme Β 

Designed for subsea engineers responsible for the maintenance, reliability and operation of subsea BOPs and associated equipment, the Subsea Engineer Programme supports technical development from those new to the role through to experienced subsea engineers.

The programme comprises three levels:

  • Introductory
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

Training is matched to competence and position, building technical knowledge and capability as participants progress through the programme.
